"Let's Get Cultured" Website & Blog for Course Project
Last semester I was enrolled in a course called World Language and Culture. We were tasked with creating a blog and creating posts when assigned. I enjoy web-design, so I decided to create my own website to host the blog. The site was made on WiX.
Promotional Video for the Kennesaw State German Studies Department
After returning from my exchange year, I created a promotional testimonial about my experience in Paderborn. My hope for this video is to inspire other students to study or work abroad. The video was edited on iMovie on my iPhone 7+.
German Studies Instagram Page
As part of my role as an officer, I run the German Studies Instagram Page. This is a way to connect with students even when they are off campus. Photos shared include things like group pictures from recent events, pictures of the officer team, and advertisements for study abroad or upcoming events.
Fallstudie: Warum Walmart in Deutschland gescheitert ist (Paper Written in German)
During my second semester abroad, I conducted this case study on how Walmart failed when attempting to expand into the German marketplace. The paper emphasizes the importance of cultural competency when operating in a foreign market.
Vapiano Meets Ponce City (Paper Written in German)
Also during my second semester abroad, I created a mock international business plan to bring the German-owned Italian-style restaurant franchise, Vapiano, to Atlanta's own Ponce City Market. I analyzed the international business situation, the reason for the selection and location, and suggested a new strategy.
12 Month Plan for Georgia Alliance to End Homelessness
During my summer internship with GAEH, I developed a 12 Month social media "Gameplan". This plan included new marketing strategies, a different approach for social media presence, and elements of PR for the non-profit. This excerpt showcases two months of campaign planning.
